IPA meets Belgian Tripel

Achouffe Brewery has a Belgian Tripel IPA. A hoppy triple. Damn fine, and at 9% abv.

As if Rogue Dead Guy weren’t great enough, I had the fortune to sample a pint of Double Dead Guy. Wow, now that is a kick-ass ale. Strong, but not alcoholly-tasting like a barley wine. Similar in color to Dead Guy, but sweeter. Still, it’s well-balanced. Just make sure if you have more than one, to find a designated driver or you’ll be the dead guy.

Drinking lager is like never having your heart broken; like never failing in life by never taking a risk. Lager is safe. Lager is never fails to meet expectations, so long as the bar is set only knee high. Lager is neither complicated nor complex, and so never exceeds our reach. But fuck, we all know lager tastes like piss-colored shit.
